Shania Twain had some really good news this week. Not only is TV Guide Magazine saying she is set to mentor a week on American Idol in the weeks ahead, but she has also landed herself a new television series all her own! We don't know what theme Shania will come in to mentor on American Idol, but it surely to be country related.
As for her television series, she is joining Kate Gosselin in the reality television game. She plans to have television show titled, Why Not? With Shania Twain. The series will chronicle her rise to the top, and it will air on the Oprah Television Network.
A representive for the network had the following to say about her series: "The show will follow [Twain] as she begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures."
We have no set airdate for when her series will premiere yet! We'll have to wait to see when Shania will hit American Idol.
